For a Muslim traveler, finding halal food is a challenge when visiting other countries. Similarly, if you happen to be in Singapore, you could say looking for halal food here is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Especially if you are at a hotel near botanic garden or an area far from Singapore’s Muslim settlements. Therefore, the right step when looking for halal food is to walk down the Arab Street area or around Little India.

But don’t you get bored just sitting there?

That’s why, we’ve put together some delicious places to eat that are halal with a variety of delicious dishes and are definitely pocket-friendly! With a budget of less than IDR 50,000, you can already fill your stomach until you are full!

Halal Restaurant Recommendation in Singapore!

  1. Nasi Kukus

This is the master of delicious Steamed Rice and Nasi Dagang in Singapore. Try choosing Fried Chicken Steamed Rice, this dish has a crispy skin but the meat is still soft and blends perfectly with the steamed rice and curry sauce. Also, try the Nasi Dagang Sambal Asam Sotong.

The coconut milk red rice and the addition of the sotong tamarind sauce are no less kicking. The soft squid, spicy gravy, and fresh pineapple chunks make the taste explode in your mouth! Hmmm, so curious about how it tastes.

This restaurant is located at 573 Woodlands Drive 16, #01-01, Singapore 730573 and is open daily from 10:00 to 21:00.

  1. Selera Nasi Briyani

Super cheap Briyani rice with five-star taste. The staff deftly serve visitors whose queues are snaking. The briyani rice was delicious with thick spices. You can combine it with lamb, fried chicken, or fish. To be able to taste the briyani rice here, come when the shop has just opened. A little late, you might run out!

This restaurant is located at Stall #01-42, Old Airport Road Food Centre, Singapore and is open every weekday from 10:00 until finished, usually, the restaurant will close around 13:00.

  1. Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak

Delicious nasi lemak, an artist’s favorite! If you eat here and don’t queue, you are very lucky! Usually, it takes 30 minutes to 1 hour to be able to eat this nasi lemak because the queue is so long.

Basmati rice mixed with coconut milk and pandan leaves is super yummy! Moreover, plus a choice of side dishes such as chicken or fish. Guaranteed you won’t regret eating here.
