Set apart from the hustle and bustle of Nainital, this hill station has its own mythology. It is stated that if one stands on the ground and looks at all nine points of the lake at once, they will vanish into smoke and reach nirvana.

The Sattal Lake

The cave-like entrance to the temple opens up onto a wide courtyard leading to the temple’s holiest of holies. In front of lush mountains and a brilliant blue sky, the 52-foot monument of Lord Hanuman stands out like a beacon.
Upon entering the temple’s grounds, one feels an immediate sense of cleanliness that facilitates a deeper connection to the spiritual realm. Visitors can also pray at the Vaishno Devi temple, meditate in the Shani Mandir, worship at the Ram Darbar temple, and take a break and relax in the Ram Darbar temple.
Lake Naukuchiatal

On top of the tallest building in town stands Mukteshwar Dham, a Shiva shrine that has been there for 350 years. According to records, a ruler of the Tamil Pandya empire constructed the temple.
